Patient Participation Group (PPG)

‘Working together makes a difference’

What does the PPG do?

We are a group of people who volunteer our time to improve the patient / surgery experience. Our aim is to help patients gain a better understanding and knowledge of the practice, how it runs and the staff involved. Our group, together with the practice, endeavours to help patients take more responsibility for their own health and promote understanding of long term conditions.

The PPG works to improve effectiveness of services provided by the surgery and ensures the patient view is always represented.

We aim to meet 4 times a year to discuss and implement plans relating to the surgery.

The PPG is not a complaints processing service, however in order to achieve quality and improvement, we do encourage and welcome constructive ideas, cooperation and consultation.

We would love to hear from you…..
