Patient Participation Group (PPG)

‘Working together makes a difference’

What does the PPG do?

We are a group of people who volunteer our time to improve the patient / surgery experience.

The aim is to provide an interface between the patient group we represent and the surgery, providing a voice to the patients that may not otherwise be heard.

We work closely with Hathaway management team,  to help patients gain a better understanding of the practice, how it runs and the staff involved.

The PPG works to improve effectiveness of services provided by the surgery and ensures the patient view is always represented.

We can provide support to the surgery should it be needed, and aim to meet around 4 times a year to discuss and implement plans/events relating to the surgery.

We encourage and welcome constructive ideas, cooperation and consultation and we can then feed this back into the surgery for better outcomes for patients.

We would love for you to join us, we’re a relaxed and chatty group and even if you can’t commit to all 4 meetings a year, please do get in touch if you’re interested.

How To Join?

We welcome enquiries from patients who would like to join our patient group.
