Further to the release of the patient survey which evidenced that access to Hathaway can be an issue, we are pleased to inform our patients that our practice is actively participating in the GP Improvement Programme (GPIP) — a national initiative designed to support general practices in delivering high-quality, sustainable care.
The GP Improvement Programme focuses on strengthening the way we work as a team, improving patient access, and enhancing the overall experience for both patients and staff. As part of this programme, we are reviewing and refining key areas such as:
Appointment availability and access
Continuity of care
Practice workflows and communication
Use of digital tools and technology
Our goal is to ensure that we continue to meet the evolving needs of our patients while maintaining safe, efficient, and compassionate care.
You may notice some small changes over the coming weeks as we implement improvements. We will continue to listen to your feedback and keep you updated throughout this process.
Thank you for your ongoing support — we’re excited to be part of a programme that puts patients at the heart of primary care.
