Prescriptions

A repeat prescription is generated by handing in, posting or faxing the counterfoil attached to your previous prescription. There is now also the facility for you to register and request it online. Please use the counterfoil wherever possible and give us 48 hrs notice as we do many per day and hand written or “urgent” ones (? forgotten) slow up the system. Please read “Private Medicine and Hathaway Surgery” if you have been to see a private specialist.

Prescriptions ordered for collection from a local pharmacy may require 72 hours before being available as pharmacies only collect from us once each day.
